| What a Mystery Shopper Job Entails |
|
|
Imagine a world in which meals, clothes, shoes, manicures, hairstyles,
and other products, are free. Well, whether you know it or not, you're
living in that world.
A mystery shopper job provides all the delights of shopping, without the massive credit card bills. Have you ever wanted to go to a select mall, but it was too far away? No longer must you be hindered by time, distance, or budget. If you have a mystery shopper job, the world can be yours. A mystery shopper job entails just that... shopping! A mystery shopper is a person hired by company representatives. When a company wants to test their products and services, they hire a unbiased person to go undercover, posing as a regular shopper. The mystery shopper is recruited and trained to look for specific product and service performance points. The shopper then goes into the place of business, say, a day spa for example. During the entire service, the mystery shopper is expected to make mental notes of things like, did my masseuse do his job properly? Did my manicurist use fresh, clean instruments? With these sort of questions answered, the person holding a mystery shopper job will report back to the company representatives. The best part is, the mystery shopper is reimbursed for every penny they spend, including money on gas, and oftentimes even paid a bonus. Some people can make a living doing a mystery shopper job. Most people with this job are doing it as a way to get a few free products or services, but not as a full time job. This job, however, is an excellent way of getting free meals and manicures, and in some cases, the mystery shopper job can develop into a full-time living. Have you Ever wanted to go to Hawaii? In some cases, you may be able to! A mystery shopper job comes with benefits other workers only dream of. Because companies have overseas branches, they must have people to investigate their workers' performance. Sending you to Hawaii is only a drop in the financial bucket, in comparison to what the number of good customers they might lose due to poor performance from bad employees. Because most mystery shopper jobs are acquired through the internet, employers often require you to have an internet connection, a fax machine, and a cell phone. A digital camera may also be needed to catalog the way in which stock is displayed, and to record inappropriate behavior by employees. A camera phone is always a plus, as you are able to record moving pictures, which can be compelling evidence for those holding a mystery shopper job. Whether you just love to shop, or are looking for a new full time job, this can be a fun job, more like being paid to do a hobby you enjoy anyway! |
